2012 Cabernet Sauvignon
38 In Stock
Wine Enthusiast Review: A thick, decadent and dark wine with 5% Malbec blended in, this spent almost two years in nearly all new French oak, giving it a backbone of vanilla oak and toast. Atop that density and richness sits high-toned characteristics of plum and cassis.

“Dark garnet hue; Intense black cherry, cassis, anise, chocolate, cigar spice, caramelized new French oak, sage and clove. Expect a full and plush mid palate density with layered flavors of ripe plum, blackberry, cedar spice, currant, integrated toasty oak and dark chocolate. Complex and rich fruit flavors, well balanced with nicely integrated tannins. Finishes with subtle chocolate notes that just make you want to go back for more! This is tasting incredible now, but should age for another 10+ years. This wine is the best of all the 2012s Cabs I've tasted in Napa or anywhere else.
