2013 Estate Malbec
201 In Stock
CGCW Review: The slightly richer and more plush of the two Patland Malbecs, this fully ripe bottling comes across as being a bit thick and a touch hot on the palate, but its overarching message is one of abundant, very juicy, black-cherry and plum fruit and its minor misdemeanor of coarseness is sure to be mitigated by an extra few years of bottle age.

Winemaker Notes
“Dark garnet hue; Intense boysenberry, inky blackberry, violets, white pepper, anise, truffle, dark chocolate, cigar spice, caramelized new French oak. Expect a full and plush mid palate density with layered flavors of blueberry, black currant, cedar spice, raspberry fudge, integrated toasty oak and baker’s chocolate. The persistent yet balanced finish exhibits excellent depth, purity, and elegance.”
