2014 Pinot Noir

Garnet core with hints of orange and pink around the rim. Classic aromas of muddled cherry skins, purple plums, and cherry cola. On the palate, dry black cherry, dried leaves, cigar spice and leather. A subtle warming and bold tannin on the finish mean to say this is certainly not a “delicate” Pinot Noir. While staying true to the grape, this wine exemplifies the fruit-driven, bold intensity that is trademark of Northern California wine country. Pair with duck confit topped with liquor macerated cherries.
