Winemaker Notes
This Cabernet Sauvignon is a wonderful example of our winemaker’s ability to create a balanced and well-integrated wine. Nothing overpowers anything else in this wine, and at the same time it has a range of flavor that can take you from entrée to dessert. It opens on the nose with creme de cassis and red cherry, but leads into oaky smells of caramel and toffee that would pair beautifully with a bread pudding dessert. The finish is of wild strawberries and dusty earth.

Tasty varietal of Cabernet and Malbec. Two of my favorite grape varietals. I had the young 2017 Napa Valley Cabernet paired with some aged American Wagyu Caps and can honestly say was a very enjoyable meal. The 2017 was very aromatic and “Oakey” that was a perfect compliment to the Wagyu. I consider it a great wine for one so young. I was given the bottle of 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon as a birthday present and can say with confidence that it was very enjoyable with my meal: I would love to buy a few bottles of 2017 and try them with another meal in a few years to see what it tastes like with some age. I will have to purchase a few bottles then. Thanks for doing what you do Henry, Olga and family.
