2018 Syrah

With its perfect balance and “gobs of yum factor”, the 2018 absolutely keeps in the trademark style of Patland Syrah! The nose is elegant and enticing. It’s perfumy and hightoned, boasting floral notes like violett, lavendar and potpourri. It smells of bing cherry, black plum, grape jelly, and blueberry pie! On the palate it’s concentrated, intense and powerful! Surprisngly earthy, it has gravely, iron-rich notes. Those give way to bold black pepper spice, and a more intense black fruit character. Incredibly robust in it’s youth, the bright acitidy and hightoned nose whisper of a wine that will age gracefully for 20-30 years.
