Tasting Notes
This year's rosé showcases a rich tapestry of layered red fruit. Aromas of sweetheart cherries and fresh strawberries create an inviting opening. On the palate, it delivers our signature texture—full and round, with a weight that makes it a rosé not for the faint-hearted. Flavors of raspberry, cherry fruit roll-up, and strawberry creamsicle are beautifully complemented by the wine's refreshing acidity. The finish is elegant, with subtle hints of vanilla adding a creamy layer to the wine.
Production Notes
Our Rosé undergoes barrel fermentation in neutral barrels and is aged sur lie to enhance its texture. Every few weeks, we stir the lees back into suspension to build viscosity. Throughout the aging process, we taste each barrel, ceasing the stirring once we achieve the desired mouthfeel. By using high-quality saignée from our favorite red grape varietals, and through implementing this technique we're able to craft our bold and fruit forward style of Rosé.
